After Roy left Sun (and before signing with Monument), he joined RCA for one fruitless year (1958-1959). Looking back, we can see how important it was in helping to shape Roy's classic style. His last rockabilly single was the terrific "Almost Eighteen" (included here), and we can see his pop leanings taking shape in other songs included here, like "Paper Boy", "Sweet And Innocent" and "Seems To Me". The set is rounded out with Sonny James' rare early Sixties RCA sides, including a great re-make of "Young Love" and his hit version of "Apache" from 1961. 19 trax in all.
