IN THE I-ROOM:
All XOTEC Techno & Progressive House!!
That Kid Chris. Perhaps the steadiest and most consistent DJ in our catalog, XOTEC became
one of the most popular sellers in the "brick and mortar" version of our store.
His mixes chronicle the time during which they were made, and have evolved from
rave/techno to tribal/trance to progressive/underground risk-taking house. A
good sense of melody, a badboy "outrageous" side, and smooth/seamless blends
characterize the mixes in this room. His song selection is superb, and tho it was
difficult to distill his many mixes into a sort-of "best of" from over the years,
here is the pick of the bunch. This is probably the only place to score
some of the more obscure jams of the 90's underground. if you ever wondered where
the real "garage" went, i'm here via XOTEC to serve it up. Here we go:
mixI.01: Techno Classics (1992) mixI.02: Techno/Acid Trance (1992-93) mixI.03: Techno/Trance/Tribal/Progressive House (1993-94) mixI.04: Trance/Tribal/Progressive House, (1994) mixI.05: Progressive House/Trance (1994-95) mixI.06: Neo-Funk/Progressive House Supermix! (1995) mixI.07: Neo-Funk/Progressive House/Neo-Acid (1995) mixI.08: Neo-Funk/Progressive House/Neo-Acid (Xmas, 1995) mixI.09: Neo-Funk/Neo-Electro/Prog. House (1996) mixI.10: Funky Progressive House (1997) mixI.11: Funky Progressive House (1998-1999) mixI.12: Funky Progressive House (1999-2000)
Magnificent mixing from the 90's! Remastered/preserved, and each cd is packed!

2) MISC. ITEMS FOR SALE/TRADE:
NOTE: this is NOT the main products page of the AJ site.
This is just stuff that doesn't fit anywhere else!
For our regular music & video & DVD items, pick a room to your left.
Or If you've come directly to this page on its' OWN, come in thru our
Front Door.
What's below is simply an outlet for the "kid" in me: the kid who likes to find
others of similar interests and trade things that just "accumulate" around the
Apollo Lair due to my many and varied interests, k? So.....
Here's the ongoing list i have posted on various sites, consisting of
NON-"regular AJ" stuff available for sale, or (even more fun) TRADE. If the
beginning text of the section looks a bit repititious, it's because it's been
set up so i can post it on MY site AND segregate all the pertinent info so
it'll stand alone when "cut and pasted" onto OTHER people's sites.
After checking out the list (below),
CLICK HERE to enter our site
thru the front door, where you'll find our "main courses": CD's, VINYL, MIXTAPES.
Which we don't trade, we sell. Just so's you know. :)
I created THIS SECTION to trade comics/ mags/ books/ vids/ etc.: i'm a reader and i'm looking for other
readers to cut down the astronomical expenses of keeping up with our favorite titles. But i'm
willing to entertain lists of other things. If your stuff is just sitting there gathering dust, why
not trade it off for stuff you haven't read/seen/heard/watched/played yet? Right? We each
pay our own postage, and insurance is recommended so no one loses out. A typical
example of when this works the best: i get Spiderman (but not X-Men) every month. If you get X-Men every
month (but not Spidey), perfect! Let's trade! We can each follow two good titles for the price of one.
Each item has a "sell" price. If it's multiple issues of a title (ie. Supes #23-30 or TWO copies
of Spidey #14, etc.), the price listed is the price PER item (ie. $2 EACH, $5 EACH, etc.).
If you don't want to deal with trading, you can BUY any item listed.
For example, an item that sells for $3, has a $6 trade value. And so on. If BUYING,
Should you want to trade, just double the "sell" price for its' "trade value": indicate that and
E-MAIL US with your list of whatcha got to offer.
All items are M or NM unless otherwise noted. I take good care of all the stuff i bought as "new".
TRADE/SALE LIST BEGINS HERE:

Note: I'm ALWAYS interested in trading to get games for:
- Sony PlayStation games (for PS1, 2 or 3)
- computer games for PC
If you have games, let's trade!! Either for other games or anything else on this list. Prefer them *complete*, meaning in original case with rulebooks/maps/etc. but hell, just tell me whatcha got (complete or not) and maybe i'll want it ANYway.
The revised version of the mixtape catalog is online and print-able.
We no longer offer "hardcopy" mailed catalogs: just go there and print it out.
17 of the 26 rooms planned, with more titles added every month.
4) The Video/DVD Room:
While planning the new online editions of both the mixtape catalog and
the video catalog, I've been going OFF on this one. Revamping and expanding
titles into "over-2-hour" T-160's, adding a lot of stuff.
Check out the video room for info on
viewing some of the completed text sections of the RARE VIDEO catalog, via e-mail.
Until i get the info posted to the site, i can easily e-mail you some of the selections,
with full track listings and background info. These video collections are DONE and
ready to ship if you want them.
By the way, does anyone out there have any video footage by off-the-beaten-track
Batcave-era groups (Specimen, Alien Sex Fiend, March Violets, etc.) or minor 70's
Glamsters (Mud, Barry Blue, the Jook, etc. etc.)??? Let's trade!
5) VINYL/CD ROOMs:
> CHECK IT: Bet you didn't know that i have hundreds of titles that NEVER MADE
IT INTO THE STORE! I have 50% of it here so far, and the
other 50% is still in storage. So hang on in there! I have a shipping
pipeline in effect, and get regular shipments of boxes. As i get these boxes of vinyl
and cd's, I get busy logging, checking condition, structuring and posting the titles.
Stuff is already trickling onto the site . Check out the
VINYL/CD ROOMS. I highly suggest
you BOOKMARK our site and come back regularly to see what's been added since
you last visited. And now it's easier than ever to just use the SEARCH ENGINE
to your left if you're really an impatient sort. All pages of the cd room, vinyl room,
and mixtapes rooms have been indexed and will now appear as search results for
whatever artist or group or format or dj that you're looking for.
And for the most recently-posted items for sale that don't fit anywhere else,
(ie. NOT vinyl/cd/video), just scroll back up or click the
link.
6) HELP!: GAMES FOR PLAYSTATION & PC,
PLUS "NOWHERE MAN".
I'm REALLY interested in getting some good PlayStation games AND computer games
(for PC). If you have them,
let's trade!! Either for other games or anything else on this list. Prefer them in
original box with the rulebook, etc. but hell, just tell me whatcha got and what it
comes with & i'll see if i haven't played it already.
